About the Founder

Melony Catana, AScT, is a registered professional technologist with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians and of British Columbia (ASTTBC) and a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP). She has 10 years of corporate project management and consulting experience, is educated in natural resource management and has 13 years of experience encompassing all phases of horticultural landscape operations.

Melony is practical and down-to-earth. She communicates technical information in plain language, understanding that this is what her clients want. She takes a collaborative approach to problem solving, engaging her clients and the project team to develop custom solutions for each project.

As a former 'tom-boy' that grew up on a farm, she is mechanically inclined and accustomed to hard work. She is approachable on the job-site, knowledgeable of construction practices and contributes practicable and meaningful solutions - on site and at planning stages.

Melony worked for a large consulting firm for many years. She started her own company, in 2012, in order to pursue her interest in environmental sustainability.

Melony lives with her husband and two sons, in Kelowna, BC. She and her family enjoy traveling, the outdoors and participating in a variety of sports. Melony is enthusiastic about cooking, art, gardening, yoga and environmental awareness.
